Pendurthi MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu has pressed the State administration to take immediate steps to rehabilitate and relocate residents of Thadi village in Anakapalli district, citing safety reservations due to a number of pharmaceutical units in and around the village.
Meanwhile, the MLA explained that in view of the repeated accidents documented in the pharma units surrounding the village and the pollution cause by the industries, the administration should take immediate steps to relocate the residents of the village to a safer location. Stressing the significance of the relocation, he remarked it is necessary to protect the lives and health of the residents. This person have been living in close proximity to the industrial units for numerous years.
