Pakistan’s bilateral trade with Saudi Arabia declined slightly in the fiscal year 2025-26.
The total trade volume between the two countries stood at $4.75 billion in FY2025-26, down 0.27 percent from $4.76 billion recorded in the previous fiscal year.
Pakistan’s imports from Saudi Arabia increased by around 1 percent to $4.06 billion during FY2025-26, compared with $4.04 billion a year earlier.
Meanwhile, Pakistani exports to Saudi Arabia fell by around 5 percent to $687 million, down from $724 million in FY2024-25.
The figures show that Pakistan continued to run a substantial trade deficit with Saudi Arabia, with imports remaining several times higher than exports.
The decline in exports contributed to the marginal contraction in overall trade numbers despite the increase in imports.
