Ms. Girija, founder of the Cerebral Palsy Sports Association of Kerala, trained children with cerebral palsy to play football and supported them become champions. Speaking on the occasion, Puranasundhari M., Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, recounted how she overcame visual impairment and accessibility barriers to clear the UPSC Civil Services Examination with an All India Rank of 286 and join the Indian Revenue Service. She recalled how her parents and well-wishers supported her access study materials and achieve her dream.
