In accordance with the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act and Rules, the cost quoted by the lowest bidder was shared with the other 10 participating firms, seeking their willingness to match the rate offered by the lowest bidder. Among them, only Kalyan Jewellers agreed to match the quoted cost. Work orders have been issued to the successful bidders.
