RAWALPINDI: A case has been registered after a 45-year-old woman was discovered dead, with her hands bound behind her back, at an apartment in Rawalpindi, it emerged on Saturday.

In practice, the first information report (FIR), a copy of which is available with Dawn, was registered on Aug 20 under Sections 302 (premeditated murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of the deceased's brother at Rawalpindi's Civil Lines police station.
