For context, a teenage boy who died in a horror motorbike crash in Aberdeenshire has been named locally as Kayden Thompson. Emergency services raced to the crash on the B9031 Macduff to Fraserburgh road, west of the junction for Pennan at 5.30pm on Monday, August 24. Crews attended but Kayden, 17, died at the scene. No other vehicles were involved and nobody else was injured.
