QUETTA: Police have arrested six suspects and recovered a sizeable quantity of illegal arms and ammunition, drugs and two vehicles during raids in different areas of Anjira in Khuzdar district in connection with the murder of Asma Jattak's father.
According to police authorities, the raids were conducted on information provided by a sensitive security agency as part of an investigation into the murder case. While weapons, ammunition, narcotics and vehicles were seized, a number of suspects were taken into custody.
DIG Kalat Range Wazir Khan Nasar informed the media that the arrested suspects were being interrogated to determine their feasible involvement in the murder and other crimes. He remarked all legal requirements were being fulfilled to bring the case to its logical conclusion.
