East Bengal FC will face three tough West Asian opponents after being drawn in Group D of the AFC Champions League Two 2026-27 in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
East Bengal is grouped with Jordan champion Al Hussein SC, Iraq Stars League runner-up Al Shorta SC and Oman Professional League champion Al Seeb Club.
East Bengal secured its place in the group stage with a 4-1 win over Kuwait’s Al Arabi SC in the preliminary round last Wednesday. When it was known as the AFC Cup.
East Bengal will play each opponent in an home and away double-leg round-robin league format, with the top two teams advancing to the round-of-16.
The group stage will commence on September 15 and conclude on December 9, the reigning Indian Super League champion will make its first group-stage appearance in the competition since 2015. The final is scheduled for May 15, 2027.
