"It's OK everyone! I'm OK!" Eden wrote in an Instagram post Sunday, Sept. 6. "Oh my goodness, there has been a bit of miscommunication. I'm not suffering from an illness."

Eden went on to explain that she was prescribed a new medication "that turned out to have some nasty side effects." Consequently, the actress remarked she was advised by her doctor to sit out the event while she recovers.

"What awful timing for this to happen! My deepest appreciation to everyone for the concern, " Eden concluded. "This is just a speedbump! I expect to be out and regarding as shortly as I'm given the go-ahead!"

Actor Pat Boone, who costarred with Eden in the 1961 film "All Hands on Deck, " accepted the career achievement award on her behalf after a screening of the film, according to Cinecon Classic Film Festival's statement.
