Motorcycle and Qingqi rickshaw owners will receive discounted petrol for up to 20 liters per month. Meanwhile, owners of vehicles up to 800cc will be eligible for a monthly limit of 30 liters.

Notably, the authorities will verify vehicles through an automated system connected with provincial transport and excise departments.

For registration, citizens must send an SMS from a SIM registered in their own name. The message should include their CNIC number, vehicle number, provincial code, and registration date.

After successful registration, applicants will receive a confirmation message on their mobile phones.

Before visiting a petrol pump, registered citizens will need to send "TOK" to 9771. They can then show the received token at the petrol station to receive discounted petrol.

Meanwhile, the supply of discounted petrol in Islamabad will commence between Monday and Tuesday midnight.
