Rain, loud sloganeering, placards with messages for authorities, and drenched students trying to "force a change": these were the scenes that unfolded as hundreds of Delhi University (DU) students gathered at the Faculty of Arts on Monday evening for the third and the largest such demonstration in a week, demanding better safety measures for women.
Last week, similar marches took place near Lady Shri Ram College and Gargi College and Kamala Nehru College after a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped at Aastha Kunj Park in South Delhi.
