Islamabad Rescue 1122 and the city's fire brigade are set to receive 21 new rescue and firefighting vehicles. It have arrived at Karachi Port from China after 17 years. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Karachi Port and inspected the vehicles. It will be transported to Islamabad within five days.

Meanwhile, the new vehicles will remain available around the clock at six rescue stations in Islamabad, the minister remarked.

Authorities informed Naqvi that the vehicles can conduct rescue and firefighting operations at heights of up to 256 feet. The fleet includes four fire aerial trucks, six fire towers and five fire tanks, along with modern rescue and firefighting equipment. Karachi Weather to Remain Warm and Humid.
