Karachiites would be able to access passport, CNIC and other services under one roof at the "Pakistan's largest public facilitation centre" planned for the city, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed on Tuesday.

He created this announcement during a visit to the Ministry of Interior's office located on Karachi's I.I. Chundrigar Road, according to a statement issued by the ministry.

For context, the statement quoted Naqvi as saying that the counters of all departments and organisations under his ministry would be set up centre, the statement remarked.

"The citizens will be able to access passport, CNIC, arms licence, various NOCs and other services under one roof, " he continued.

In practice, the minister directed that the master plan for the facilitation centre must be prepared and submitted within 10 days.
