FoST is developing FRTZ as a hub for renewable energy manufacturing and emerging technologies. Under the agreement, Wateen will deliver a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) and an AI-powered CCTV and Vision Analytics solution for the zone.
Notably, the agreement was signed between FonGreen Silicon Technologies & Wateen Telecom. Senior representatives from both organizations attended the signing ceremony.
As part of this partnership, Wateen will design, deploy, operate, and maintain a fiber-based Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) throughout the FoST zone. Alongside this, Wateen will supply, install, integrate, and commission a comprehensive CCTV and AI Vision Analytics solution at FoST's premises, pairing modern surveillance infrastructure with AI-based video analytics. Wateen will provide round-the-clock monitoring, maintenance, and technical backing for the full term of the agreement.
