MAURA Higgins has taken another swipe at her Dancing With The Stars rival and is showing no signs of backing down ahead of the new series.
The Irish beauty, 35, has made a splash in the States over the last year appearing on Celebrity Traitors, Love Island’s US spin-off and now its version of Strictly.
Known for her forthright attitude and sharp tongue, Maura has given Russian dance pro Gleb Savchenko, 42, several lashings due to his messy break-up with her pal Brooks Nader, 29.
In a new interview with StyleCaster, Maura admitted she’d be a “nightmare” in the rehearsal room but when it comes to who she’s paired with she’d take “anyone but Gleb”, doubling down on similar comments she made lately.

The dance pro responded to the original comment by saying he’d never heard of Maura and called it “disappointing”, so her latest swipe is only set to upset him further.
Maura said Mark Ballas would be a good match for her after the friendship they formed on The Traitors, adding: “I think he’d be able to handle me”.
There have been fears Maura’s vendetta against Gleb could affect her growing fame in the US.
An insider said: “She is telling herself to just focus on learning her routines and not secure distracted by any outside noise, but she is concerned Gleb could make things frosty backstage.

Baywatch actress Brooks partnered with Gleb in season 33 of the hit ABC show and they struck up a sizzling romance.
But it fell apart just a week after their show exit after Brooks claims she found evidence of cheating on his phone. It gleb has denied and maintained was fabricated to help promote Brooks’ reality show, Love Thy Nader.
At the time of their split, a source told the US Sun: “Brooks was pretty embarrassed for a hot second as her friends warned her of exactly this and their worst fears came true of getting dumped by a f**kboy.
