According to a statement published on Friday, the airline expects to commence operations using the two aircraft in early November 2026. Under the agreement, Norse Atlantic will provide the aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance, allowing PIA to expand its long-haul operations without directly managing those requirements. The arrangement will additionally allow Norse Atlantic to redeploy capacity from its previous ACMI operation.
"We are pleased to support PIA's long-haul capacity expansion and to strengthen connectivity between the UK and Pakistan by providing the large Pakistani community in the UK with more options for travel between the two countries, " Norse Atlantic CEO Eivind Roald remarked.
