Chaos rocks college football as Georgia, Notre Dame, Indiana and other top teams suffer losses, setting the stage for a major shake-up in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

Week 7 of college football provided all sorts of chaos, and consequently, the top 25 rankings received a drastic shakeup.

After taking over the No. 1 spot a week ago, Georgia lost it after an unexpected loss at home to Auburn. The Bulldogs, who originally led 14-0, offered up 24 unanswered points on defense before tying the game with 2: 58 left in the fourth quarter. A Gunner Stockton fumble at the end set up a game-winning field goal for the Tigers, giving them the biggest win of the Alec Golesh era.

Bear Bachmeier and BYU knocked off CJ Carr and Notre Dame in Provo, handing the Fighting Irish their first loss of the season. Bachmeier connected with tight end Walker Lyons for the eventual game-winning touchdown, and the Cougars' defense came up with a stop in the closing moments to seal the victory. The final defensive stand, nevertheless, was not without controversy.

Arch Manning and Texas were unable to hold another 10-plus-point lead. Trailing 27-24 with just under two minutes to go in the fourth quarter, Manning fumbled the ball on a strip-sack by Florida linebacker Myles Graham, resulting in yet another costly turnover at the end of the game for the Longhorns quarterback.

Though the Buckeyes lost quarterback Julian Sayin for "several weeks" in the process, elsewhere, Miami survived Florida State in a double-overtime thriller that concluded with further controversial officiating, Tennessee knocked off Alabama on Rocky Top and Ohio State snapped Indiana's 22-game win streak.
