In a major manufacturing milestone, MCML moved from equipment installation to production rollout in under 90 days, establishing a dedicated body-on-frame REEV assembly line and strengthening its commitment to bringing advanced new-energy technology to more vehicle segments in Pakistan.

In practice, the first vehicle introduced under NEVO in Pakistan, the Hunter brings Changan's vision of mass electrification to the truck segment. Unveiled at The Next Leap earlier this month, NEVO is a key brand within Changan's House of Brands, focused on making intelligent, accessible and future-ready new-energy vehicles available to a wider audience.

Notably, the NEVO Hunter isn't here to join the truck category; it's here to redefine it. Designed for individuals who admire a truck's freedom, presence and capability but reject the traditional compromises, it delivers what the market has long lacked: a comfortable yet capable 4×4, powered by REEV technology. Built on Changan's dedicated global NEV truck platform, the Hunter's dual-motor powertrain delivers 322 hp and 529 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. While multi-link independent rear suspension and a quiet 63 dB cabin deliver a smoother, more comfortable drive, its REEV technology combines electric driving experience with range confidence of going beyond charging infrastructure. Panoramic dual screens, ventilated seats and advanced safety technology further elevate the experience.

Beyond driving, the Hunter's 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system turns it into a mobile power source for adventures, worksites and emergencies. With up to 227 kWh of energy available under full-fuel and full battery conditions, it can power a 1, 000W setup for more than nine days.

Built on a high-strength body-on-frame ladder chassis with intelligent 4×4, the Hunter offers a payload capacity of 1, 010 kg and towing capacity of 2.5 tonnes. Electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist and hill-descent control further enhance confidence throughout challenging terrain.

Introduced at an introductory rate of PKR 10, 990, 000, the Hunter opens the door for C-SUV customers to step into the truck lifestyle without giving up everyday comfort. Customer response has been exceptional, with the vehicle fully booked until February 2027. Deliveries are now underway, fulfilling MCML's commitment to bring the Hunter to customers on time.
