Notably, the Minister remarked a Administration Unani Medical College would be established at Proddatur in Kadapa district, with an estimated construction cost of ₹49 crore. Similarly, a Administration Ayurveda Medical College would be established at Dharmavaram in Sri Sathya Sai district at an estimated cost of ₹49 crore, he went on.

On the VIMS campus in Visakhapatnam, the existing Administration Naturopathy and Yoga College would have a first floor constructed above the existing ground floor at an estimated cost of ₹9.37 crore. On the same campus, extra construction would be carried out at the 50-bed integrated AYUSH hospital, he informed. A third floor would be constructed above the existing second floor, along with facilities required for the Clinical Department of the college. The estimated cost of the project was ₹3.04 crore, he remarked.

Mr. Satya Kumar remarked the 50-bed Community Health Centre at Chintur would be upgraded into a 100-bed regional hospital, at an estimated cost of ₹21.99 crore and a new Out-Patient Department (OPD) building would be constructed at Kakinada Administration General Hospital (GGH), at an estimated cost of ₹27.13 crore.

Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC) had initiated the tender process through e-procurement, the Minister remarked.
