In view of a JD(S) protest scheduled at Freedom Park in Bengaluru from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday (August 18) against the proposed Bidadi Township project, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic restrictions and alternative routes to ensure smooth movement.
Vehicles approaching Freedom Park from Mysore Bank Circle via K.G. Road and intending to take a right turn must compulsorily use the Maharani Underpass Road on Palace Cross Road. Vehicular movement between Freedom Park Junction and Kanakadasa Circle has been temporarily restricted. No vehicles will be permitted on this stretch. The road from Subbanna Junction to MTR Junction, currently a one-way, has been temporarily converted into a two-way road. Motorists heading towards Gandhinagar can use this route.
The Traffic Police have appealed to motorists and the general public to cooperate with the traffic arrangements and apply the designated alternative routes to avoid congestion.
