July was a busy month for HDFC Mutual Fund. It ramped up its investments by increasing its stakes in about 422 stocks. Simultaneously, the fund reduced its involvement in 164 stocks, affecting numerous prominent companies. They integrated five new stocks and fully exited from J.B. Chemicals and Nilkamal. HDFC Mutual Fund now manages a total of around 703 stocks, heavily weighted towards financial services.

HDFC Mutual Fund increased its holdings in almost 422 stocks in July, whereas it reduced the stake in 164 stocks in the same period, according to the monthly data released by Prime Database.
Among the 422 stocks where the fund house climbed its holdings are some names such as Adani Enterprises, Adani Green Energy, Biocon, BSE, Ather Energy, Petronet LNG, L&T, ICICI Prudential AMC, HAL, HUL, TCS, ITC, Asian Paints, Vodafone Idea, Nippon Life India AMC, Eicher Motors, Colgate-Palmolive (India), Adani Power, and Billionbrains Garage Ventures (Groww).
