In practice, the quintet most notably includes No. 23 Missouri's road game against Kansas in the latest installment of the storied and perpetually heated Border War between the two schools, a rivalry dating all the way back to the Civil War. Elsewhere in the ACC, Louisville will follow up its encouraging showing in a last-second loss to No. 11 Ole Miss with a home game against Villanova, one of the top teams at the FCS level and a new entry into the Patriot League. In one of only two matchups between power-conference programs, Boston College will host Rutgers in the Eagles' annual Red Bandanna Game, with both programs recognizing the 25-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
