The workers. This person had gathered under the aegis of the MMC&RI Contract Workers’ Union affiliated with All India United Trade Union Centre (AIUTUC), alleged that their wages for three months were kept pending while their “self-proclaimed” supervisors were subjecting the workers to harassment.

“It is deeply regrettable that no action has been taken to resolve these issues, despite the ongoing exploitation of workers who have not been provided with regular wage slips, proper uniforms, or timely EPF and ESI contributions,” observed a statement issued by the AIUTUC’s Mysuru district committee.
