LAKKI MARWAT: A policeman was martyred and another sustained bullet injuries when unknown armed men targeted a police patrol party in the Shatakai dam area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Karak district late on Tuesday night.

For context, the district police officer's (DPO) spokesperson, Shaukat Khan, remarked in an official note that the police party was on routine patrol duty in the area within the limits of Sabirabad Police Station when the firing attack took place.
