For almost 30 minutes, Manish remained at the fuel pump near Tikri Kalan Metro Station before he could secure an ambulance and be rushed to Safdarjung Hospital, his uncle Vijay Prasad noted.
"He lay there for half an hour. He had lost so much blood. How could anyone survive?" Prasad informed PTI.
Manish, who had been working at the fuel pump for around three years, had documented for his shift at concerning 2 pm on Wednesday. The explosion occurred around 2.30 pm or 2.45 pm, his uncle remarked.
"I obtained a call saying that a cylinder had exploded and Manish was serious. I called my brother, and he, my nephew and a number of other residents came here, " he noted.
By the time he could be put into the ambulance, he had lost enough blood.
"There was no one to take him. All gas station staff ran away, " Prasad remarked.
Manish was one of three individuals killed in the gas cylinder explosion during refilling at a CNG station in outer Delhi's Tikri Kalan, police stated. Another fuel pump employee, Sunny, died during treatment, according to police. Three others sustained critical injuries and are undergoing treatment.
In practice, the six individuals who were standing near the truck when the explosion occurred were rushed to hospital, the DFS officer stated.
Notably, the exact cause of the explosion was not immediately known, police remarked.
