Denny's is serving up another helping of its ultra-popular Sticky Kicks sneakers.

When the restaurant chain brought out its inaugural pair of limited edition diner-themed sneakers in December 2025, they sold out in a minute, Denny's remarked in a news release. The appeal? Sticky Kicks were the "first-ever sneakers made with real Denny's syrup, " the firm stated.

For context, the sequel, Sticky Kicks 2.0 sneakers, arrives on Friday, Oct. 9, which is National Sneaker Day. The shoes, again designed in collaboration with footwear artist and designer Dan "Mache" Gamache, exude syrup sweetness, too.

Denny's syrup is inside the shoes' tongues and panels on the sides and collar. The soles additionally "feature a hand-splattered maple syrup effect, ensuring every step drips with authentic diner style, " according to the news release.

Laces created of blueberry blue fill out the primary color palette. Each pair comes with a syrup-scented hang tag that has a QR code you can have scanned at a Denny's restaurant to obtain two free Buttermilk Pancakes with the purchase of the Grand Slamwich meal.

But you need to take some action ahead of time. Sign up for the Denny's Rewards loyalty program and opt in to SMS messaging by 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT on Thursday, Oct. 8, to obtain the required access code needed to unlock the sneakers' night drop. Demand for the shoes hasn't died down since December 2025.

"People were like, 'When are you guys going to bring them back?' So we did, " Gamache remarked in a video posted on Instagram. "We came with blueberry laces, hand-speckled drip on the bottom (to) create a little bit different, produce a little bit special. Then you obtained all the panels with all the syrup, and that's real Denny's syrup in there. We didn't we didn't cheap out on it. It's a crazy shoe, and it's supposed to be."
