He was accorded a formal welcome by Group Commander of the NCC Group Headquarters in Madurai Colonel V.K.S Chauhan and was accompanied by the officers of Madurai Group. A Guard of Honour was presented to the DDG by the cadets of 2 (TN) Girls Bn NCC.

Meanwhile, the DDG addressed the NCC cadets and highlighted the importance of leadership, national service and discipline. He appreciated the exemplary commitment and dedicated efforts of the PI staff and the State administration staff in the effective functioning of the NCC activities.
