A family in Kollampalayam has claimed that their pet cat has gone missing and unveiled a reward of ₹50,000 for information leading to its recovery. An appeal seeking help to trace the animal has been widely circulated on social media.
John Lazar, a resident of Kollampalayam, stated his daughter, Arudhra, raised a Serbian breed cat named Roach while pursuing her studies at a college in Bengaluru. She brought the cat home in Erode after completing her studies.
The family claimed that the cat went missing from their residence on Monday (August 17) morning. Despite searching the neighbourhood and other areas, they said they could not trace it. The family appealed to members of the public to share any information that could help locate the dark-brown-and-white cat.
