Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has remarked that Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan are foreign- proxies being employed by hostile elements to destabilise Balochistan, hinder its development and drive a wedge between the state and its individuals.

Interacting with Balochistan's notables and political leadership, Field Marshal Munir remarked such hostile designs would be defeated through the collective resolve of the nation and a firm, decisive and unwavering response by the state, according to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement issued on Friday.

Notably, the army chief remarked a clear national narrative, coupled with lasting peace and stability, was essential to unlocking Balochistan's economic potential, attracting investment and converting its abundant human and natural resources into tangible prosperity for its residents.

Highlighting the role of young individuals, CDF Munir stated Balochistan's youth represented one of the country's most vibrant and promising segments, adding that empowering them and providing opportunities to contribute to national progress was central to sustainable development.
