Asked regarding the delay in establishing a library and park on the premises of the memorial, Mr. Logesh remarked the pending development works would be implemented after taking up the project with the Chief Minister.

Collector Anand Mohan, District Revenue Officer C. Vidhya and MLAs Reddiyarpatti V. Narayanan of Nanguneri and R.S. Murughan of Tirunelveli garlanded the statue.
