Something new has quietly arrived in Pakistan, and the first pictures are already out. Images circulating throughout social media appear to show two highly distinctive SUVs being offloaded from containers on Pakistani soil.
While an official launch is still to come, the vehicles in the pictures are unmistakable: the iCAUR V23 and iCAUR V27.
For those who haven't heard of iCAUR yet, this is a brand worth watching. A global new-energy automotive marque from the Chery Group, iCAUR was created with a distinctly international outlook, combining bold, boxy SUV design with electric and range-extended electric technology. The brand created its global debut in 2025 and has since expanded rapidly throughout international markets.
Today, iCAUR's network spans more than 40 countries and regions, with a growing presence throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and beyond. Its vehicles are already making their mark in markets including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Nepal, South Africa, the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. While the V27 has rapidly gained attention throughout the Middle East, the V23, in particular, has been topping the new-energy boxy SUV segment in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Now, Pakistan is next.
Notably, the arrival of iCAUR is being driven by one of Pakistan's most powerful and established business groups, Nishat Group, adding another major global automotive name to its portfolio. Nishat is no stranger to bringing international automotive brands to Pakistan.
While its partnership with Chery International brought OMODA & JAECOO to Pakistan in 2025, through its automotive ventures, the Group has already established Hyundai in the country. That venture has already reached the milestone of 10, 000 locally assembled vehicles, underlining the Group's ability to rapidly establish new automotive brands in the Pakistani market. And now, the Group appears ready to introduce something rather different.
For context, the iCAUR V23 is an all-electric, unmistakably boxy SUV designed around individuality, urban exploration and a sense of adventure. Alongside it sits the much larger V27, iCAUR's flagship range-extended electric SUV, bringing electric-first driving together with the freedom of extended range.
