After the joint session, Hurts was asked if he had any advice for Maye as he heads into his third professional season – specifically when it comes to getting the most out of wide receiver A.J. Brown.
"I think Drake has had a lot of success already, so I don't know what my advice would do, " Hurts replied. "I just think he needs to continue the progression that he's on. I mean, he's already accomplished so plenty of great things in a short time and I expect more great things to come for him."
Maye and Hurts both fell short in their first Super Bowl appearances. Hurts bounced back to obtain the job done in 2024-25, and Maye will look to do the same as he comes off last year's title-game loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
