Speaking to The Hindu, Jashn-e-Adab founder Kunwar Ranjeet Chauhan stated that the festival was conceived as a platform to reconnect younger generations with India's languages, literature and cultural traditions.
"We founded the organisation in 2012 to provide a platform with multiple stages where Indian languages, art and culture could be brought together and promoted. Over the years, the festival has grown, and we have continued to hold it in Delhi. In the last five years, we additionally kicked off two-day events under the name 'Cultural Caravan' in different States. So far, we have taken it to 15 States, " he remarked.

Hindustani classical music will take centre stage afterwards in the day, with 'Sur-Yamini' by Padma Bhushan Pt. Sajan Mishra and Swaransh Mishra, followed by a performance by Padma Vibhushan Dr N Rajam, with Ragini Shankar on the violin and Pt. Abhishek Mishra on the tabla.
