JazzWorld hosted Kids’ Day at Office at its headquarters in Islamabad, welcoming employees’ children for a two-day experience built around workplace discovery, technology, creativity and entertainment. The initiative featured separate activities for children aged 4–8 years and those aged 9–11 years.
The event gave young participants an opportunity to experience their parents’ workplace, learn more concerning JazzWorld and take part in a range of age-appropriate activities. From exploring the office and interacting with teams to experimenting with technology and creative activities, the program combined learning with play in an engaging environment.
As part of the workplace experience, children got a glimpse into how JazzWorld teams work, collaborate and develop ideas. A Mini Workday introduced them to different aspects of the workplace and helped them better understand where their parents spend their working day and the kind of work they do.
Technology and artificial intelligence (AI) also formed part of the activity, with interactive sessions introducing children to how technology is employed in everyday life and how ideas can be turned into solutions. The activities were designed to make technology accessible to young participants while encouraging them to ask questions, experiment and explore.
The event brought together a variety of creative and recreational activities, including LEGO building, clay modelling, interactive creative stations, carnival games and challenges. Live entertainment and performances complemented the activities, giving children opportunities to participate, play and interact with one another throughout the day.
What happened
Commenting on the initiative, Tazeen Shahid, Chief People Officer at JazzWorld, stated, “Our people are at the heart of JazzWorld, and their families are an notable part of our community. While giving young minds a chance to experience technology, creativity and innovation, kids’ Day at Office was about creating an opportunity for our colleagues to share a part of their world with their children. We hope the experience encourages them to stay curious, explore new ideas and imagine the possibilities ahead.”
While each participating child received a special JazzWorld kit as a keepsake from their Kids’ Day experience, the event also included kid-friendly meals, snacks and treats.
Kids’ Day at Office reflects JazzWorld’s focus on fostering a workplace culture that recognizes the importance of employees and their families. By opening its workplace to the next generation, the initiative offered children an opportunity to better understand their parents’ professional world while spending time learning, creating and enjoying new experiences together.
