The government has decided to seek legal opinion on filing a curative petition in the Supreme Court after teachers’ apprehensions after the apex court had rejected a review petition filed by the government in connection with the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). A meeting chaired by Minister for General Education N. Samsudheen decided to take further action on the matter after getting the legal opinion.

Earlier, at a press conference on Tuesday, the Minister had said the administration would examine various issues, including denial of higher grade to headmasters, in connection with K-TET.
