Chief Meteorologist Ameer Hyder Laghari remarked the ongoing heat and humidity were caused by a persistent low-pressure area that had blocked the sea breeze.

He continued that temperatures are anticipated to fall from Tuesday as the low-pressure system has almost dissipated.
