Pune Rural police on Saturday arrested a friend of Chetan Chaudhary – an accused in the alleged murder of Ketal Agarawal – Ritesh Hange, for his role in the conspiracy. Ketan Agarwal died on June 18 after he was allegedly pushed off a cliff at Pune's Lohagad Fort.

Hange has been a friend of Chetan since the latter's junior college days, remarked an officer. "We have arrested Chatan's friend for his role in the conspiracy to murder Ketan Agarwal, " remarked Pune Rural Superintendent of Police, Sandeep Singh Gill. Hange was produced before a court in Vadgaon Maval on Saturday and remanded to police custody till September 12.

Investigators alleged that 26-year-old Ketan was pushed off a cliff at Lohagad fort on June 18 as part of a conspiracy allegedly orchestrated by his fiancée Siya and her boyfriend Chetan.
