KP to offer land ownership records through NADRA e-Sahulat centres

PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Af­ridi has given in-principle ap­proval for issuing land own­ership records (Fard) through NADRA e-Sahulat centres, a move aimed at making land-re­lated public services more ac­cessible and citizen-friendly.

Chairing a high-level meet­ing on reform initiatives in the Revenue Department, the chief minister directed the author­ities concerned to launch the service next week, enabling citi­zens to obtain Fard without hav­ing to visit administration offices unnecessarily. He remarked the provincial govern­ment was taking practical meas­ures to bring public services closer to citizens and facilitate the delivery of administration ser­vices at their doorstep.

Meanwhile, the chief minister remarked issu­ing Fard through NADRA e-Sa­hulat centres would reduce the need for citizens to visit govern­ment offices, saving them time and resources. He remarked the ini­tiative would promote conveni­ence, transparency and efficien­cy in public service delivery.

Commenting on the proposed legislation, Mr Afridi remarked the Land Acquisition Bill 2026 was aligned with the vision of PTI founding chairman Imran Khan and placed the public interest at the centre of the land acqui­sition framework.

He reaffirmed that the pro­vincial administration would con­tinue pursuing institution­al and administrative reforms to address public grievances and improve service delivery, stressing that citizen conven­ience, transparency and effec­tive governance remained key priorities.
