According to a Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) statement, the project cost Rs. 360 million and covered a 1.4-kilometer stretch of the two-way road. Meanwhile, the project additionally addressed the area's drainage and sewerage infrastructure. Workers rehabilitated damaged sewerage lines along the road and completed more than 11, 800 running feet of trenching for a 36-inch-diameter stormwater drainage line.

While the project included the construction of 45 manholes, the sewerage network was additionally connected to the Lyari River to improve drainage.
