Allen became the Tritons' full-time starter last season and rapidly established himself as one of the nation's best running back prospects. He led Notre Dame to a 13-1 record and state championship appearance, rushing for 3, 436 yards and 57 touchdowns on 356 carries.

Notre Dame Academy hosts Manitowoc Lincoln in its first conference game of the season. Last season the Tritons rolled to a 42-7 victory in this game, but Allen was limited to his lowest rushing total of the season, finishing with 53 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.
