Amadalavalasa MLA Kuna Ravikumar on Friday requested the State administration to problem orders for the posting of 1, 391 jail warders in their native districts or local zones as per the guidelines of the Presidential Order with regard to postings of staff.
Mr. According to Ravikumar, the administration had posted all jail warders in far away districts with the introduction of multi-zone rule which is causing mental agony to the warders as well as their family members.
Mr. Ravikumar stated in a release that he had raised the matter in the Assembly and requested Minister for Home Vangalapudi Anitha to resolve the grievance of the jail warders.
In another press note, representatives of the Andhra Pradesh Jails Employees' Association remarked that jail warders were unable to meet their families once in three months due to their duties in far away districts.

The family members of the warders planned to meet Ministers for the permanent solution for the challenges being faced by the jail warders in the State." stated a representative of the association.
