Mughal Iron and Steel Industries Limited has fully repaid the Rs. 1.5 billion principal amount of its Sukuk VII Islamic certificates, completing its repayment obligations under the financing arrangement.
The company disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on August 18 that the rated, listed, secured and privately placed short term Islamic certificates, issued on November 14, 2025, had been fully paid.
Mughal Steel repaid the entire outstanding principal through three equal installments of Rs. 500 million each. The company additionally made three quarterly profit payments in accordance with the agreed terms of the Sukuk.
The successful repayment marks the completion of the company’s obligations under the Rs. 1.5 billion Sukuk VII facility. The financing was structured as a short term Islamic certificate and was both listed and privately placed.
