In practice, a sense of excitement and sensation prevailed in the Golconda fort on Thursday evening and Friday morning as news spread regarding the discovery of a tunnel on the outer fortification of Golconda Fort. While the Karwan MLA Mr. Kausar Mohiuddin shared the information regarding the discovery on Thursday (August 20, 2026) evening, the residents in the area have been making a beeline to see the purported tunnel. Mr. Mohiuddin asserted that the tunnel was discovered when the Indian Army was carrying out an excavation.
