He was speaking after inaugurating a seminar on open universities and education at Amal College of Advanced Studies, Nilambur, on Wednesday. The seminar was organised in association with Sree Narayana Guru Open University and Jan Shikshan Sansthan.

Mr. Wahab remarked open and distance learning offered opportunities for those unable to pursue conventional higher education to continue their studies and acquire new skills.
