The Inter-Services Public Relations has rejected an Indian documentary on the so-called Operation Sindoor, accusing India of distorting the events of its military confrontation with Pakistan through a highly dramatised and factually inaccurate account.

In an official note on Monday, ISPR said India was still unable to accept the outcome of the conflict and was now trying to present a different version of history for domestic audiences.

The military media wing said the documentary employed selectively edited interviews, emotional narration and cinematic reconstruction to alter facts and rewrite the operational record.

ISPR said the documentary additionally contained major contradictions, including claims about the timing of attacks and the identity of alleged perpetrators. It it remarked exposed an attempt to manufacture a convenient narrative.

The statement reiterated Pakistan’s claim that its armed forces successfully repelled Indian aggression during Marka-e-Haq and shot down eight military aircraft.

It also stated Pakistan later carried out Operation Bunyanum Marsoos against 26 military targets using precision-guided weapons and other advanced munitions.

As well as the eventual cessation of hostilities through dialogue between the two DGMOs, contradicted the documentary’s claim of a decisive Indian victory, ISPR said India’s own references to missile, drone and air activity.

The statement concluded that Pakistan remains committed to peace and stability, but its armed forces are fully prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
