Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna has urged the Centre and the Telangana administration to resolve the long-pending name discrepancy (alias names) issue affecting Singareni Collieries Business Limited (SCCL) workers, and ensure justice for them.

In an official note, Mr. Krishna said both governments had a responsibility to protect the interests of the Singareni organisation and its workforce. He noted that he had written a number of letters to the Union Ministries of Power and Finance on the issue and had additionally brought it to the notice of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.

Expressing concern over the delay in resolving the matter, the MP said the problem remained pending despite repeated representations to the SCCL management.

He cautioned that neglecting workers’ grievances could create challenges for the organisation going forward and stressed that the management was responsible for addressing their concerns. If the issue continued unresolved, the responsibility would rest with the office-holders concerned, he said.
