Police announce traffic diversions to facilitate UGD works between Thaneerpandal junction and TNPDCL sub-station on Codissia Road in Coimbatore

The police have announced traffic diversions to facilitate the laying of underground drainage (UGD) pipeline by the Coimbatore Corporation between Thaneerpandal junction and the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) sub-station on Codissia Road from August 19 to September 7.

Entry of vehicles will be prohibited on the stretch during the 20 days. Two-wheelers and four-wheelers should alternatively use Thaneerpandal ninth street (Foundry Road) via Tamil Nadu Housing Board area to secure connected to Codissia Road and further to Avinashi Road.

Heavy vehicles. It used to take the closed stretch to reach Avinashi Road, should pass via Thaneerpandal junction, Gandhima Nagar Road and Pioneer Mill Road to secure connected to Avinashi Road.

Heavy vehicles that used to ply from Saravanampatti to Avinashi Road through Codissia Road should proceed through Vilankurichi Road and Kalapatti junction to reach Avinashi Road.
