He, along with Social Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, visited the Nookapally 2-BHK Housing Colony near Jagtial and participated in housewarming ceremonies of some beneficiaries.

Mr. Reddy remarked in the first phase of the resurvey of lands was underway in 70 villages throughout the State, including identified villages in Jagtial district.

While fake passbooks would be identified and cancelled after due process, he stated, pattadar passbooks would be issued to all eligible farmers after completion of the resurvey.

He alleged that some ineligible persons had availed themselves of Rythu Bandhu benefits using fake pattadar passbooks during the previous BRS administration. The resurvey would support resolve land-related matters transparently while protecting the rights of genuine farmers.

Mr. Reddy alleged that the previous administration had neglected basic amenities at the Nookapalli 2-BHK colony. The Congress administration had issued ₹32 crore after assuming office for drinking water, drainage, electricity and other amenities, he noted.

Funds would be published in the second phase for a school building and other facilities. Authorities had been instructed to establish a ration shop and provide a bus service to the colony, he went on.

Meanwhile, the Minister remarked the administration was committed to ensuring that every eligible poor family obtain a house and that no poor family in the State remained without a home.

He directed the authorities to expedite the land resurvey and construction of Indiramma houses and resolve "22-A and assigned land" cases transparently.
