For context, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a volatile trading session on Wednesday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index swinging both ways before closing with a loss of over 1, 100 points.
Meanwhile, the market opened on a positive note, and the index initially extended gains, hitting an intra-day high of 178, 942.31. Nevertheless, the upward momentum failed to sustain as selling pressure emerged, with the index gradually losing ground during the session.
