Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has confirmed that Lahore will host Basant again in 2027, following the successful celebration of the festival in 2026.
The chief minister said Lahore will once again host celebrations featuring colors, culture, music and festivities. She also invited young residents from Punjab and across Pakistan to participate in the event and create memories during the three day celebration.

She expressed hope that Basant 2027 would become another successful and memorable celebration. The announcement comes after Punjab hosted Basant celebrations in 2026.
